FlexTogether is a website. We recommend using a laptop or computer with a web camera for a more robust experience.
All of our providers are board certified, have experience with older adult patients, and receive additional respiratory training.
Currently we are only available for patients residing in California, Florida, and Vermont. However, the support group is open to everyone across the country!

FlexTogether offers a variety of exercises divided into several categories: breathing exercises, strength training, flexibility, balance training, yoga, dance, and more.
At FlexTogether, we understand that not everyone has the same level of fitness. That is why we provide different levels for all of our exercise classes. You can complete the exercises standing (with or without assistance) or seated. Our providers will never push you to do more exercises then you are capable of.
You will be evaluated during the initial appointment so we can customize a program based on your goals and current fitness level.

No! Most of our exercises do not require any equipment. For the those that do, alternatives can be found with household items.
PT, OT, and SLP providers will closely monitor your reported outcomes and measurements throughout the program.
Yes! Exercises are designed to be completed in small spaces.
It depends on your condition. We also provide a maintenance program for patients for as long as you need.

Yes! You can access FlexTogether on both macs and PCs on Chrome, Safari, and Edge. We suggest using Google Chrome though for the optimal experience.

Chronic Obtrusive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is an umbrella term for lung diseases that make it difficult to breathe. COPD is the 3rd disease-related cause of death with about 16.4 million patients in the U.S.
FlexTogether provides respiratory rehabilitation. This includes billing for physical therapy and speech language pathology, along with a personalized home exercise program. We take many best practices from traditional pulmonary rehab, but we use different providers and care delivery methods.
We encourage patients to attend pulmonary rehab when appropriate and welcome graduates of pulmonary rehab to the FlexTogether maintenance program.
